Is learning to dive here dangerous, and can I fly out afterward?
Diving here rewards a certified operator and disciplined profiles, and Utila has an unusual on-island safety asset. Certify only with a PADI/SSI-certified shop (UDC, Alton's, Parrots, College of Diving, Underwater Vision), dive within no-decompression limits, and observe no-fly-after-diving of 18–24 hours before flying.
